I love this quote because it highlights the essential principle of confidence. In order to be confident with yourself, you’ve got to fear yourself and triumph over it. Yep, you heard that right because feeling afraid is normal and even a healthy emotion to experience.
Did you know that a little stress is actually good for our bodies? It releases small amounts of the epinephrine, norepinephrine and cortisol chemicals. Furthermore, tension results in boosted memory and efficiency.
What is not good though is significantly high levels of anxiety. Anxiety has a direct correlation with ageing, fat deposition, menstrual cycles and more.

Staying happy is much more easier than it seems if you follow 7 basic habits in your day-to-day life. Listed below are self-confidence tips which all successful women adopt!
1. Stop overthinking about every single event or possibility
Flooding your brain with constant thoughts will ultimately get you nowhere. Try to stay in the present and avoid thinking about stuff from the past or future.
Being mindful every single second can be tough, but it gets easier with practice. Discovering mindfulness was a big stepping stone in my journey to being more confident and you can make it work for you too in just 7 minutes!
This is a big issue that stems from trying to please everyone. You must learn to keep your priorities first. At the end of the day, people who don’t care about themselves are taken for granted and seen as easily available.
Consider a hypothetical situation in which you’ve been trying to call your friend for weeks but he avoids contact with you. If he then asks for an urgent favour, you have all the rights in the world to refuse him.
3. Stop apologising for trivial things
Do what you think is right. If someone else has a different opinion, then don’t let it affect you! It is important to stand up for yourself.
Be sure of the authenticity of your actions, no matter what the consequences are.
4. Don’t regret anything that happens, but take it as a lesson
Keep in mind that everything occurs for a reason. Every mistake gets you closer to the right path. There is a hidden success in every failure. It is an opportunity to learn more.
So, keep walking, running and falling but don’t stop until you reach your destination.
5. Constantly step out of your comfort zone
As mentioned before, the only way to get rid of fear is to face it. Now you don’t have to do something completely out of the box, but taking little steps ahead each day is the key.
Gradually, you’ll start feeling empowered by the same things you once dreaded.
6. Stop caring about what people think of you
Most of us spend so much time thinking about our reputation that we rarely care about others. And even if people do judge you, it shouldn’t bother you.
Doing so gets them absolutely nowhere in life. Instead, spend your time productively to improve yourself, after which their attitude will automatically change.
7. Know that it’s fine to not know about everything
Being confident doesn’t mean perfection. There will always be something that you don’t have knowledge about. In this situation, it is ideal to own up. It’s better to say “I don’t know” than to panic and make excuses.
